The Devils Punchbowl

This much awaited walk took place finally and many thanks to Frances for her perseverance 10 members set off in a light drizzle which turned to proper rain but didn't seem to dampen any spirits A few vicissitudes turned up, such as blocked paths but we managed to get to Thursleigh churchyard for lunch sheltering under traditional yew trees and lurking around grave stones to share picnics No one felt like braving the technicalities of contact tracing for a drink at the pub so we turned happily for home a lovely afternoon walk in sunshine with the satisfaction of another step forward to the 'new normal' by the time we got back to our cars
