Merstham to Oxted NDW

11 of us set off from Merstham station into unchartered territirory looking for a path to the next section of the NDW With a liitle help from friendly locals we achieved our task and had a lovely walk along the next section of our per-amble along the North Downs Way It was lovle to be out walking again after the snow and rain of the last month The sun was shining and a promise of Spring was in the air Butterflies, primroses, swards of wild garlic and a lovely picnic lunch overlooking the south downs Accompanied most of the way by the hum of the M25 which was a bit daunting.
