emergency walk Kingston to Richmond

I think a good, if sad, decision to abandon Hindhead. Despite the weather we had an excellent walk. For some of us it started with an unfamiliar bus ride on the top deck past Kew and Ham Common. We then were gently blown from Kingston to Richmond, with no rain, and up to an early lunch on Richmond Hill, the Roebuck who easily accommodated 11 of us. In the afternoon it must be admitted it rained but 7 of us enjoyed walking on to Kew Bridge. Finally just Sue Shaw continued to Chiswick. Thanks to all the brave souls who made it another good days walking. Margaret M
