Saunderton and West Wycombe
12 members and a leader left London with all precautions necessary for walking in hot sunshine . But is our age showing- is it short term memory loss- for by the time we arrived at the start it was starting to rain . Oh dear , the forecast only predicted a little rain , not got the correct gear. So 12 members and a leader got a bit wet. Still that didn't stop us enjoying warm rain, very noisy birds, lunch in a pub and that very special springtime mixture of greens in an English wood. In fact a day of normality A wet walk lead by Margaret enjoyed by all

Walk details - an easy stroll through the Chilterns, mixed woodland and meadows. We pass Hughenden Manor and West Wycombe caves. One steep climb up to the caves.
Lunch - Pub - the Le De Spencer’s Arms, Downley Common. We will need to book this so please let me Margaret M (mmiles1012@outlook.com) know by Wednesday 2 June if you would like a pub lunch. Or bring your sandwiches, but the otherwise helpful publican does not like people eating their own food on his premises so you will have to go to the cricket pitch
We will keep up with government guidelines and will let you know if we have to make any changes to this walk.
Please register with the leader on the day for tack and trace purposes
