presteigne w/e Day 2 Kington and Hergist Ridge

The group, less the golfers plus 2 guests, met for a walk up Hergist Ridge in glorious sunny autumnal weather. This gave us the oppurtunity to gaze in wonder at the vista of our wonderful walk the prwevious day, consider the urban myth of the planting of monkey puzzle trees to celebrat joining the common market and shake our heads on the folly of Brexit. That over we walked happily on to a good pub lunch and a circular return for tea at Hergist Croft gardens, drinks with the Duguids and a delicious dinner in Presteigne . Is there no end to this hedonistic life?
