Chilterns Bluebell Walk
Take M40 to Junction 6. Then take B4009 signed to Princes Risborough and Watlington. On entering Watlington, take the first left turn from the main street, into Hill Road. Follow the road for about 2 miles, on the crest of a hill you will see a small sign for parking. Turn right into NT car park, it is in a little copse. (No charge). If you go past a gate to Watlington Hill Farm or a T junction on the road you have gone too far. ( No convenient trains).
Please note on the way home there is a one way system in Watlington and you have to follow it round to the right to rejoin the B4009, which has signs for the M40.
A circular route across Watlington Hill & the Oxfordshire Plain, along part of the the Icknield Way, and through Greenfield Copse where we hope to see a spectacular display of bluebells. About 3 hours before lunch and 2 hours after
Hills and valleys but beautiful views. Poles and gaiters recommended

We have booked in for the later session at 2 pm. They are very busy and we need to PRE BOOK WITH ORDERS. We will circulate the menu ASAP. Please let Judy Parsley know your menu choices by THURSDAY 12 April EVENING..
At the end of the walk you can take pot luck for a cup of tea or something stronger at the delightful Fox and Hounds pub just down the road to the left when you arrive at Christmas Common. No promises because they are also very busy at weekends but we certainly were able to have a cup of tea there on our recce.
